Daniel graduated and received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010. He is a graduate of the DePaul University College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2013.

Daniel has been in private practice since November of 2013, but legal advocacy has always been a part of his life – his mother and two close uncles are also attorneys. Growing up with family members in the profession showed Daniel the importance of hard-work, dedication to justice, and critical thinking, each of which he practices on a daily basis for his clients.

While Daniel was a full-time student at DePaul University College of Law, he served as a Law Clerk and Judicial Extern to the Honorable Judge Joan Powell in the Commercial Division and Judge Daniel Gillespie and Judge Susan Zwick in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where he drafted memoranda on motions and assisted in legal research covering a multitude of issues, including workers' compensation, personal injury, and breaches of commercial contracts. Before joining the law firm of Stone, McGuire & Siegel, P.C., Daniel worked for the Law Offices of Susan Bogart, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, where he drafted legal briefs and memoranda, and engaged in substantial discovery in federal employment law cases appearing before the Northern District of Illinois. These experiences provide Daniel with a broad knowledge of the legal field and a unique perspective necessary to succeed in the practice of law.

Daniel joined the law firm of Stone, McGuire & Siegel, P.C. in March of 2014. Since that time, under the tutelage of the highly skilled and accomplished attorneys of the firm, he has acquired vast experience in complex health care law matters, including the development and maintenance of healthcare compliance programs, anti-kickback law, HIPAA, and medical contract review. Daniel has also mentored healthcare clients in their implementation of mandatory compliance plans to assure compliance with federal, state and local laws to eliminate or minimize potential sanctions.

Daniel has also been involved in research and analysis in highly complex litigation matters, where health care providers have faced actions brought by federal, state and local governments including Office of Inspector General of the United States Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Justice.
